Carolinas Equestrian Fox Point Farm Tommy Serio I am from Culpeper, VA, and grew up watching all the great Hall of Fame hunter riders show their horses at the big old VA shows like Upperville, Middleburg and Keswick. One of my biggest idols was Tommy Serio. The way he could quietly usher a beautiful TB around a 4’ course was just magical. Titusville and Mind Games were two of my favorites. Of course, Two For One and Superflash, he rode after Charlie Weaver, were also spectacular.

When I found out last year that Tommy had moved from Keswick to Aberdeen (Southern Pines) NC, I had to see if I could get help from him. He was super kind and invited me to come for a lesson. It was like being home again, those simple VA horseman ways of saying and doing things.

Tommy helped me put the polish on my riding and on Fame last year before the Makeover. He just got back from being in Wellington (FL) since Thanksgiving. I was dying to get back.

My Tommy (Robinson) and I took our boys (Fame, Waldo and Voodoo) to Summerfield for lessons this weekend and had a blast! I’m definitely not in shape, but my boys were all super!

Tommy (Serio) loved his brain, said he was a good mover and could really use himself over the jumps. It took me a moment to get into baby horse mode, but we had loads of fun!
